Default Do you end up "supporting" the LL team that you manage?

Just don't end up buying the car! :p

Seriously, yes I do. My LLaMa campaigns usually last six months real time (i.e. I might manage two teams per version of the game; currently I'm on the Workington challenge, last year it was Bradford PA) and I go gain a real affinity with the club.

I managed Norwich once for a couple of seasons. Ask Julian though if I support them or not. (I support their relegation campaign, if at all)

Yes I do.

Started FM2005 with Redbridge FC, Conference South. Ended up on their website, staring to chat along on their forum, mentioned something of dropping by someday and I actually did on august 20th when we played Fisher Athletic away in the Ryman Premier League (RFC relegated from the Conf. South last season). As a reward for me coming over to watch them the RFC board gave me some merchandise, including a offcial shirt wich are not for sale
Still visiting the RFC site daily, feeling good if we win, feeling bad if we lose (and that happend a lot so far ) and was glad to see the manager was fired. So far we didn't grab a win in the league (rock bottom, 3 points from 17 games) but we did qualify for the 1st round proper of the FA Trophy. And for what it's worth, the club doesn't agree on Iajafer "cups suck arse" mentality

I've never heard a single person actually involved in football bad-mouthing cups until they are knocked out of them. Then it's 'concentrate on the league'.

As a Emmensupporter I hate the Dutch Cup. The "bigger" clubs are given a freebee until the 4th round so there's hardly never a amateurclub who get's crazy and reaching the stage where they could face PSV.

And if I see how we lost in the 3th round against a weaker side... makes me think the Emmenplayers and managment don't care about the cup too. If we would have won against FC Eindhoven we would be facing Ajax in the next round ffs

I follow East Stirlingshire, but that's not only because I've managed them in CM/FM, I've developed an actual affinity for them and their plight.

I suppose at first I did look to see results of teams I'd managed, but now I've managed so many it would be impossible/impractical to follow them all.

That said, I've just started again with Leigh RMI for the first time in years and I notice them when I'm flicking through the results.

My first ever CM game was in 03/04 version with Scunthorpe and I became a fan after a 17 year career with them.

If I could "follow" Elgin City from these shores, I would. If for no other reason than the badge, which is why I started manging them in the first place. I do peek at the results online from time to time.
