I've the same dilemma as Devon, this side of the drink doesn't give us anything with regards to lower divisions, I do keep my eye open whilst looking for results though.

I always look for Montrose and St Johnstone's results on a Saturday, and that's after playing CM01/02 with them...

I always have a little look at Leyton Orient results since i managed them back in CM3.

They are not doing too badly at the moment

Will you just give it a rest? We get the picture. I'm tired of hearing how upset you are that your team lost a UEFA tie to what is in Euro terms an LLM team. Get over it.

Ever since my epic game with Billericay Town, I've always checked on their results. I grew to quite like them simply because of my affinity in the game.

I've never been to any of their games or to their ground. Heck, I've never even been to the town itself.

They're the only ones though, and I've played FM/CM ever since the original came out all those years ago.

No, not really.
The only team I still have some sort of liking for is Brighton because of the Ultimate Soccer Manager (blasphemy) demo I played several years ago.
Hey, I was young and foolish back then...

I tend to start with St Albans when playing the English Leagues as I used to live there and have watched them a few times.

I can't say I have ever felt attached to any particular club over the years but maybe that is becuase I haven't played a good 20/30 season save for quite some time!

I generally try to find as much info on the club as possible since I'm on the other side of the world and I know nuts on any of the teams.

I do agree that one tend to have an affiliation with the club when one manages them in FM.

It's always nice to see the stadium picture on the club's website. Gives you a bit of inspiration to imagine the country's top clubs playing at a ground where 50 people and a dog are watching.
