And he did a better job than you suggest at Stoke. They were top of the bottom half when he left for Sunderland. Tony Pullis manage to pull a team from the brink of relegation that he had put there himself. Ofcourse, if Cotterill stayed put they wouldn't have been involved in a relegation battle. He's a very ambitious manager and I challenge you to find me a quote where he preached loyalty. Infact, the Stoke board commented on his ambition to get to the top. They just didnt bank on him being so ambitious that he'd be Howard's number 2. What he did was a disgrace though. :thup:
