Geoff Chapple? Although never getting Woking promoted he raised their profile and also his great cup run with Kingstonian?

GOT to be Dario Gradi. I don't think there's many 3rd div clubs with less resources than Crewe, let alone 1st div, yet he brought them all the way up while having to sell his best players pretty much every year, grooming England internationals along the way, and playing football the way it should be played, on the deck. I'd be amazed if there haven't been plenty of approaches from big clubs to have him run their youth academies.

I may be putting him (a tiny amount) above Guy Roux simply because i'm more familiar with the job he's done, but he's the winner for me.
