Yeah, Guy's the man. He just signed another 3 year contract after which he will have been 45 years with the same club. And you thought that only happens in CM

I healthily despise Martin O'Neill.

Debate settled!

Also at Brad's spelling of Fergie & legend and his apparent ability to say something that somebody else had said far earlier.

We all seem to have overlooked the new Pools Boss Neale Cooper. Took Lowly Ross County from the Highlands Division to the Scottish First Division on a shoe string budget. Also what about Chris Turner got the Mighty Monkey Hangers from relegation battlers to Playoff contendors 3 years running

Fergie took the LLM route. LLM is about realism, not crippling yourself.

There's nothing a manager can do to get a Club elected into the SFL from the Highland League. It's all about supporter numbers, fan base, stadium and money.

Manager skill means nothing.

If Sir Alex counts as LLM I would personally rate Hitzfeld higher, as he won the Championsleague with two different clubs. He started by getting an obscure Swiss 2nd division club promoted, then won the Championship with Grasshoppers before hiring with then-midtable club Dortmund and turning them into a German and European powerhouse and finally repeating the success with Bayern. The only question is if the Swiss 2nd Division is considered low enough, and quite frankly, he only managed there one year before getting promoted to the top flight.

I probably wouldn't have considered him a LLM, but then again, you guys brought Ferguson into the mix who did far less for East Stirling than Hitzfeld did for FC Zug.

The Dave Cusack style is also LLM.

i would have to put forward RAY LEWINGTON of my team Watford..

coming in after the mess vialli had left, no money, demoralised team, and he turned everything around...

sorted out the team, released the players he didn't need, managed to convince the side to take a wage reduction so to save the club from administration.

had a decent run in the league up till christmas then had an amazing run in the fa cup taking us t the semi's...

in total released 13 players, managed to bring in a lot of youngsters, including a young keeper, who will play for england...(Guarenteed).. and managed to wheel and deal to bring in a few decent strikers for the new season....

ad now we are promotion contenders... all in the space of a season
