There's bound to be some blokes willing to do physio work for free - or at least for insurance premiums only.
I would rather it was some blokette, all the same. The last time I saw a female physio at a football match, some guy went over on his ankle. She came rushing out with the magic sponge and half the stadium shouted, "It's his groin!"
Oh how we laughed.

Why would you need to pay to advertise on your own website?

For Staff only I go for people of the Nationality of the Club I'm playing at...or Scots...and sign them if their reputation's crap and they're an unknown name.
I think I'm more realistic than the Job Centre as far as that goes.
| That's why i've had my second coach only after 3 or 4 seasons
And in these terms i find it pretty reasonable. Xure i wasn't signing Cameroonian blokes, but rather waited for UK-ers (or English speaking Europeans, on higher levels).

I've just started the LLM challenge and used the job advert function to find staff. The only staff who applied for the jobs wouldn't work for less than circa £500 per week. A bit silly when applying for a job at lowly Workington, don't you think?
In the end I compromised and used the staff search function with the filter set to unemployed only/nationality English. There was no need to filter by reputation as there wasn't a hope in hell of getting anyone with one...
A useful addition to the job centre would the ability to set filters in a similar way to the search functions (such as what the wage is, whether you're looking for an experienced person, or an 'apprentice', ie. by reputation, etc.)

| Nobby, I just put that so it would involve a cost for advertising, but unless your manager is able to update websites some developer will have to get paid to make the change. Of course when the position is filled he should be paid to take it off the website again. But lets just say that he was paid up front to put it on and take it off the website.

I’m going to put a clause in all my 15 year old’s contracts so when they are not training they have to go on a YTS scheme to learn web development, I should be able to put the adds on for free that way. And of course after 4 years when I finally realize just how sh:t they are they have something to fall back on.

I would have thought in Scotland it would not be possible to sign a contract with a 15 year old. A professional footballing contract does not strike me as the sort of contract i.e. one of employement which a 15 year old would normally enter into.
The position with a 16 year old player is slightly more complicated as the contract may be voidable at the instance of the court if the agreement entered into is deemed to be prejudical to the child.
The safest course of action is to sign over 18s only, certainly in Scotland at least.
Also, with children under the age of 18, it is not possible for the current Jambos gaffer to train them without supervision. Eh, Iaj? |
