Have to agree that to approach teams in Prem for friendly is quite unrealistic and in no time, your bank will be bloated from the cash received.

Only in L1 did my useless Ass-Man managed to get Milan for a friendly and it was a nice surprise that it was even televised.

Stoke City play an annual pre-season friendly at Newcastle Town purely to help them out financially. The 3000+ crowd brings some much needed cash to them.

The two clubs are eight divisions apart at the moment, Newcastle play in the North West Counties League Division One.
