Default FC United/ AFC Wimbledon LLM question

Hi, has anyone ever seen these two clubs get into the ECS/ECN ? if so by what season? I want to start my first LLM game and am wondering if i'll ever get a chance to manage them should they come into the game.

another quick question: Is St. Albans considered too big a club to take over as llm? i saw they have 6k stadium and aren't relegation battlers. Thanks for your thoughts.

FC United are Step 6 or 7 in the non-league pyramid so no.

AFC make an appearence early on in my game, so I assume its the same accross yhe board.

No.

St.Albans are a reasonable LLM team, as for AFC Wimbledon, they made the Conference South in 2009 in my game, and are still there at the start of January 2018. No sign of FC United.

AFC Wimbledon got up in 2008/09 in my game, with a manager. That seems to happen across the board. Never seen FC United up there. They are in level 10 of the league structure in England, so it's unlikely they'll ever get up to the Conference N/S tier.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was wondering if there was any possbile way for SI to make it so FC United come into the game, perhaps 2012 or later with an upcoming patch perhaps. it would really provide an incentive to play for a long time.

Very unlikely. If FC United came up, I'd like to manage them as well, but as they're that far away it'll probably never happen.

If they did it'd be as shameful as them making AFC Wimbledon certs for promotion in previous games.

How likely is it that FCUM will make consecutive promotions into the Conference?

Extremely unlikely. They'll perhaps get promoted this season though. Leading with 9 points, but with more games played. It's quite far up to Conference N/S level though. If they ever get there, it's gonna take quite a few years.

I'm just saying that perhaps 10 - 15 years from now it would not be impossible for FC United to be in the conference. Given their stature, backing and enthusiasm i believe it's entirely plausible that they be considered contenders for promotion. Like AFC Wimbledon i think the fact that the clubs have a great level of notoriety makes it that much more interesting to get involved in LLM as it give these clubs a story that you know about first hand. Would it be too much to ask SI to make a patch separate from the general patches they create so as to allow FC United into the game come 2020 or so? I'm sure that tons of people will download it and try to play as FCUM. it just adds another dimension to the game in my opinion. Perhaps i should start a petition. for us FCUM fans
