AFC made there apperance in 2006/07, and have been a settled mid-table side in the Conferenc south.

As an AFCWimbledon fan I can say that it is unlikely we ill go up this year. 3 promotions on the trot is tricky at any level and you have to remember we are one of the poorer sides in the division.
We have £500k to pay off to obtain our ground debt, and many players reject coming to us as they think they are going to get megabucks and quite often they will get more at another Ryman League club.
We have never been a buying club and I doubt we ever will - not that I mind.

Now... does that mean that teams below Northern, Southern & Isthmian Premiers can be promoted, or just that FC United are allowed to because of their higher reputation?

Am a big fan of the kent game as well, being a Gravesend fan (home town), but relly dont like dartford. I heard some of the AFC Wimbledon fans tried to start fight at the game with the darts, off topic i know so to bring it back to the subect..... 3 seasons in with Gravesend and no sign of AFC Wimbledon.
