I might have to join you I can't remember either…. If memory serves it is on the Manager tab and is on the drop down list…. To place an add you click on something like place advert at the bottom left of the screen.

This seems odd to me, because I have never found this to be the case in any of my saved games. There are always at least a few unemployed staffers that respond to my ads, and there is usually at least one or two in the first wave of respondents that is good enough to sign. Granted, sometimes you get some very mediocre staff, but it's better than nothing. And, as is the case with my current saved game, you can get lucky and receive responses from a couple of class people for your backroom staff.

I use the job centre and also managed to sign some people. Some crap, some a bit better.

But I do agree that the execution of this feature is crap.
I never sign foreigners as I find it rather unrealistic that a spanish, russian, african or whatever nationality is interested in signing a parttime contract of PND 100/month.

I use it but only take on applicants from the country in which I am currently managing or those of my own nationality.

Now I am confused, I thought I cost 6,000K to post an advert but I could not see it appearing as and expense…

I did post and advert for a coach. Week 1 I had 5 unemployed coaches approach me. I could only offer 40 quid a week for a part time coach and the money grabbing b@stards wanted 400 per week. (One cam in a bit cheaper he only wanted 350. Okay so I continued the advert and after about a month I have about 15 coaches. About 50/50 between employed and not).

Only one would come to work for 40 a week and he was crap (So naturally I hired him)
