Yup. You know you've got a sad squad when the highest score in the left column is a whopping 5, and then it's for such a crucial attribute as "long throws".

Rushden? No. Debt-ridden now.
Forest Green? Same thing, but without the league football.

You can't "buy your way up" from the Conference, as skill is not a pre-requisite in the lower leagues.
Eh? I might be a bit confused here but FGR have never tried to buy their way up, we haven't spent a penny on a player for the best part of 3 years now.

There was a time a few years ago where I thought Forest Green had tried to sign up a few well-known players on expensive contracts in an attempt to gain promotion.

I, am course, known to be wrong, though

It wasn't meant like that wizzle. No team in the conference has any money what so ever! I was just saying how League 2 teams that are relegated are often in an even worse financial state than the teams they are about to be playing.

Grays Athletic seem to have plenty of cash, at least in real life!

You are we're perennial strugglers, probably going down this season unless things change

...however, Telford tried it..

Do Grays' supporters get confused by their kit colour? Is it like "Come on you Blues, er Grays, er, Blues?

Just checking up on their actual kit colour I had one of those "CM moments" when I discovered one of their strikers is a guy I bought from Aldershot for Cheltenham in CM03-04 and more or less singlehandedly got us promoted twice. Apparently he's not quite such a scoring machine IRL, and he looks nothing like I expected :o

Teams relegated from the Premiership is a different kettle of fish entirely from league->non-league. The standard of skill is a different class in the Premiership and the further down the leagues, the less skill matters and more physical attributes take a part.
Conceivably parachutes are a major factor here. All relegated clubs have serious financial implications to resolve but those relegated from the Prem get that hand-out.
