It's not that different. Players who have a semi-prof contract has to choose in the long run: becoming a prof or quitting football and making another career. So a player who is sitting on a bench for a season may consider to retire and working 100% as a paramedic for example. (even if he would regret it in 10 years)

Perhaps we could have clubs being refused promotion (ie, Lewes, Margate etc) because the ground is too small, I have never seen this in FM and have seen clubs with 200 seats and 2000 standing come into the professional leagues. But i think this has been discussed in the past.

Do you mean thatproblem?

Another point:

Better and more intelligent boards.

The board should have a say if you contract another central midfielder if you have already 7 in your squad. There should also be boards who restrict the squad size, not only the wage budget. And the board should also force you to sell players, if the club is going into debts.

A certain Brazilian DL started off life as a Forward, a Poofland and ManUre DC started off as a striker, a talented Villa MC started off life as a DR.

MC means nothing, tbh. It shouldn't make any difference to the Board, as with the size of the squad. As long as it's within the budget to Board shouldn't give a tóss how many players are being paid, it gives the manager more options.

Administrators do force the club to sell players "at any reasonable offer".

The game isn't perfect, and can't possibly take in every eventuality with the mentality of the Board, but placing unrealistic limits on the game doesn't make it more LLM.

Imagine what would happen if you'll pruchase the player you need for a large amount of your kitty transfer and then someday a message is displayed:
"X Y's car accident ends hopes for club" or "X Y banned from proffetional football for 3 years due to doping".

Horrible. I cna just imagine how many times I would try to kill a computer.

Boards stopping transfers of players if there is no money to pay them. You wouldnt be allowed to offer contratcs if the club had no money to

Can you imagine how many fans would stick with that Club?
That happens in Germany quite a bit, Ian. A higher league usually means more expenses, and sometimes, a club just has no idea how they could cope with that.
