Had my youth academy 8 seasons now, in last 3 years i've had, 16, 25, and 38 youth players come through to my Workington youth side. Is all a matter of time and league mate.

When playing as Rosenborg BK (mind you, this is FM05 I'm talking about) I got 20-25 youths promoted each season. 1-2 each year good enough to make the first team a few years later.

On the other hand with my current Icelandic club I got 1 (one!) crappy youth player promoted.

So, like everything, it depends.

I guess they(we)'re just trying to point out that it could be just a dearth of Scottish young talent, or a random thing, or somesuch...

I get about 5 or 6 a season at TNS, at most one is any good.
