Two of my experienced players have been "worried by the lack of managerial discipline" for about 6 months now and I don't know what to do about it.

I haven't made any controversial statements in the press, my team talks are middle of the road, my team hardly ever get red cards... What is it?

Is it because I don't discipline players who get sent off or mouth off to the press?

Any ideas?

Does sound like you need to discipline players more, certainly when they miss training etc.

In a nutshell, what you're faced with can easily be addressed by issuing warnings to players who pick up red cards or to players who go AWOL

I've have this too right now... Never did before maybe b/c I always issue a warning for a sending off. Then I tried to see if appealing suspensions helps improve my player/club loyalty since I am defending the player publicly and instantly someone else on the club says they are worried by the lack of managerial discipline, as if all of my previous discipline (my discipline rating is 13 right now) was instantly forgotten.

I've never had a player miss training or go AWOL (atleast not in this save) but warnings for red cards might be the way to go. I usually don't do that since red cards are part of the game. But I'll give it a go for stupid sending off's. Thanks!
