When I first started playing management games I actually used that win every game cheat on LMA. :eek: It was horrible, never again. However my record was probably about 3 or 4 seasons winning every game

On CM97/98, I made a team that was made up of Mongolians from the empire (with Ghengis Kahn striker, no less), all with 200 ability and all 20 stats. Won the third division up to the premier in as many seasons, then won the European cup. It was fun, but my game messed up after too many alterations to the database, and I lost everything.

I don't mind people playing the game how they want however just don't see how you won.

Well, how did that feel, Icarus? I did a similar, if less ambitious, thing once, creating a team of me and my friends and going to win everything! (insert evil laughter here) It was fun for the first half a season each season, then it was pretty tedious until the next season started..

Seriously I can't see how it would be enjoyable. You would have to save before every single match as well. Must have taken you absolutely years to do a season.

Also some people believe in the save game = lose next game problem...well I do anyway

Live dangerously and never save before a game. Learning to stomach defeat makes the game much more enjoyable.

I never cheat in my main career game, but in other games I've added in silly players to watch their careers, or tinkered with certain player's stats to make my least favourite footballers sink without a trace.

I totally agree that reloadiung after losing a match kind of defies the point of playing the game in the first place, but as people have said above it's your game so you do what you want with it.

I do have a habit, when a little bored with the current version of FM after months of playing, of starting a game as a Mongolian manager named "Sabot Ur" and selling all Arsenal's players for peanuts, buying crap on huge wages, sacking all the staff, and then resigning the day after the transfer window closes. Frustratingly, they never seem to do as badly as they should...

i cheated in cm97/98 until I won champions league with cardiff, saving and reloading. next year I lost in semi-final and despite winning EPL board fire me XDDDDD I decided not to play with save/reload anytime (thought I did three times with fm2007, still two of these three I continue game with game lost).
