In my second season I bought a promising striker from a German club when he was still 16.

But from my experience when I try to buy other players who're under 17; but after we agree on the transfer fee and they tell me to offer a contract, the game says that the player signed a new contract with his "current team" instead of me...

This is a bit long, but I suppose it happens...right?

Since I can't edit my first post; the German player I bought was 4 months from his 17th birthday

On the other hand I couldn't under-17 players from France/Italy and the UK

Is this a country thing, or only happens if they didn't sign their youth contract yet?

if he always accept a new contract with his current team he has signed a pre-contract. there is no way to get him now until his 17th b'day. he wont even come if u offerd him 50m a game until his 17th. that help?
