Its an empty net, but the stk somehow manages to shoot the ball at about 89degrees from vertical and it goes wide. UNBELIEVABLE !!

At the moment, when I was actually playing 2008, the #1 thing that fecks me off?

Center backs who, whilst tracking a forward simply stop dead for no apparent reason leaving the forward clear to run on and score.

****ing issue since forever, never fixed, keeps cropping up and killing the game.

Ok, I play football myself irl, and understand that sometimes you can fluff a shot into the keepers arms, but ffs my strikers seem to do this a heck of a lot.

Rather strange.......

The problem is not with the amount of 1on1's scored, the problem is the amount of 1 on 1s made. It's far too easy in FM to create a tactic which will give you 30 shots a game.

But then I guess when people are struggling to dominate games, they will complain then too.

Yeah thats a pain-or when theres a tackle and the ball bounces straight towards one of your players, who then inexplicably runs off in completely the opposite direction ???

then remove the patch and play absoutely patchless...worked wonders for me

I've found a relatively unique item that happens to me, I have yet to see someone complain about it:

Every game I have a few shots go off the crossbar, and an additional shot off the post every once in a while. I've never seen so many shots blasted into the crossbar, and it happens a lot to me and the other team.

All that you are doing is slagging off FM. If you dont like the game then quit. Go away. Stop flooding the forums with windge threads.

Your not even offering solutions, your purely slagging off the game. If you dont like it - stop playing it!

just because your defenders aren't tackling hard doesn't mean their not going to give away penalties.
there are actually other factors involved like the fitness of defenders, their composure, their liklyhood of diving into tackles
if their slow they may feel the need to make a tackle earlier because otherwise they'll get beaten by pace.

maybe the defenders are being left isolated by your midfielders and attackers being too far up the pitch meaning that they aren't being helped so have to make last ditch tackles that aren't timed properly.

i've read enough posts to know there are issues with the game.
i've also played the game long enough to know that ALOT of the issues can be over come by getting your tactics right.

one person says the games too hard, another says its too easy.
one says they have loads of pens against them, another will say they hardly get any against them.
one says they can't score to save their lives, another says they're winning games 7-1 too often.
