im leeds and ive just won the league 1 and since january of that season i have had a transfer embargo because the club are going through a possible takeover. Now 10 games into the championship season still i cant sign players. All the time i get messages saying 'Leeds possible takeover' and then a few days later i get one saying 'Leeds takeover hits rocks' and it keeps repeating itself. Has this happened to anyone else and can anyone help me?

is this fm07 or 08 and has it been patched?

this happened to me before on fm 07 without patch before you see, it lasted more than a year, missing 3 transfer windows in the meantime! evetually they appionted some guy with the view to employ david platt as maager, but said from the duration of his battle for the cvlub, he was very ikpressed with me as a manager and didnt want to upset the fans!

Download the patch from here and hopefully it will sort your problem out. I personally don't think it has been fully fixed yet, but it does seem better, granted not perfect.

how do i put the patch in the game and do i have to start the game again or will the patch install to the save game im currently playing on?

I had that with Leeds as well, first season in the Premiership and couldnt sign players for ages then about a week after the transfer window closed the transfer embargo was taken off, GRRRR.

IIRC once downloaded it goes to your desktop. Just open it up and it will unzip and it will automatically save to your game.

SI say to start a new game for the best results, but it is save game compatible.
