Any assistance would be greatlly appreciated

Downloaded some logo's and facepacks - -after trying to reload the game the following appeared

XML PARSING ERROR
Not well formed (invalid token) at line 116 of config.xml

I tried to delete the logos that I had downloaded - and nothing worked - extremelly frustrated I cant play the game - can someone please assist!!

I have downloaded loads of graphics and after a certain download I got this message...

But I just click 'O.K' and ignore it, you can still play the game...


you may need to wait a little longer waiting for the black screen to dissapear but it doesnt take that long...

Unfortunatelly it did not work for me --It was so frustrating - i am even contemplating deleting all the files and just starting all over !!!

the only thing to do is re-install the game then add all the files you know work properly and start again...


By the way you dont need to back up your game saves....

they will still be there after re-intilation

There is an error in one of your config.xml files.

Have you altered any of the files before using them?

Is there any clue in the output as to which file it is (I think you can view more details iirc). You should be able to work it out through that.

If you haven't been altering anything then the graphics maker hasn't tested their pack before release.

It's not the logos that you'd need to delete - it would be the config.xml file included with them. Don't delete any of the config.xml files that come with the game though.

It's quite commonn to find errors on release Radestock - your'd be surprised. It is, however, quite easy to track them down. just note down any relevent names or teams that appear in the error and then just do a search in your folder where you put the file. It will soon show up then just go to line 116 and see what the problem is.

Oh and mart07, clicking ok and ignoring it works fine, but the graphic where the error is occuring will not be displayed.

i think you got the same download as me

there is a way to stop that it is make sure reload skin and skin catch are untick in prefances

I get this aswell from a downolad i had in 06, but just click OK and it's fine.
