if when you click on new game and it goes straight to the choose which countries etc. menu without asking which database to load goto C/program files/sports interactive/footballmanager2007/data/db and there should be a file that says 700 copy that to mydocuments/sports interactive/fm2007/db
it should work now

if the 700 file was not there then it should be in mydocuments/sports interactive/fm2007/db and copy it from there to C/program files/sports interactive/footballmanager2007/data/db

and another thing you might have to copy all the other files in that db folder

i have done this and now get the load database choice but all i get is 2 originals can u please tell me what i need to do to get my database.

by the way if you're using a no-cd crack (which is frowned upon, obviously. although surely there's nothing wrong with that if you bought the game aswell....) this could be what's causing the problem. a mate of mine was using the no-cd (he bought the game aswell. he has it on his laptop & didn't want to have to carry the disk around all the time) version for 700 but when he downloaded the 701 update the no-cd was reverting it back to 700 which wouldn't recognise his new 701 edited DB. after that he didn't bother with the no-cd and carries the cd with him, although he plays it alot less now.
