Default Background graphics

I've downloaded the pack which shows the club stadiums in the background of the relevant clubs but I find this very hard to read the actual text on the screen. Now thinking back to the original CM series one of the best features was that the stadium pics would always come up on the matchday. What I want to know is - is there a way to have the dafult picture shown on all screens except when you're playing your match?

I've had a quick look at the xml files and came across the match.xml which the game must load for matchdays - so surely it must be possibly to add a bit of code to say that if the game is loading the match.xml file then it should also use the appropriate background pic instead of the default?
