Default Different Databses...

Hey all,

Ok this is tricky for me to explain...but it no doubt require a simple answer...Here goes....

Obviously, the game comes with the original data (cprog files\SI\FM2007\data\db).

I have been downloading various data sets, that alter the way in which the game is played...for eg: I have downloaded 2 different data sets....

1) All the best team in the world are occupying the 7 English Divisions (all the way down to Conference South Div.)
2) The top 2 divisions in English league (Prem and Championship) have a selection of great teams.

Now I want to play them, but each time I choose to start a New Game...can i just select a data set to play from or do i have to copy and paste the data files to the cprog files\SI\FM2007\data\db location, with a constant backup of the orig data stored somewhere on the pc (for safe keeping) and paste the orig data back once the game has been created???????

Hope you understand....tried to explain it as best as i could!

Cheers and Thanks in advance.

i think all new databases ( or different ones i.e edited ) go in

CDocuments and Settings\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db

then when starting a new game you get to choose from the different databases you have saved.....

Where does one choose the databases though when starting the game?

Meaning where on the screen is it?

When you click Start New Game it should allow you to choose in a pop up.

if your edited database in in the right place....then when you click new game you should get a box saying choose database....

the top line has a pull done menu if more than one database is available.....just use that to find your edited one....

if you don't get a box with these options then i have no idea because i got it even with just one database..........
