Ive got a new database in there and want to edit some of the players stats etc however when i choose that database from the editor and go through all the hassle of saving the stats and go back to my game on this newly created database the stats are still the same. how do I know in the editor if the stats have been overwritten? when I click save database it just brings up a screen in the middle asking me to type in the database name, details etc but how can I do that when all i want to do is overwrite my newly created one. Any help or a link to a tutorial would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure if this is what you meant so my apologise if it's wrong.
When you edit a players stats you also need to edit there current ability to match it, just a random guess to be honest, also you need to raise there potential ability in the editor, the stats you change don't always show up 100% to what you want them to show up as either.
