Would anyone be willing to give tips on creating a Philippines football league?

As far as i can work out there is no official structure in reality so it would have to be something completely new like the J-league in 1993 or MLS in 1995.

I will get going on the league, trying to make it realistic to the situation in the phils right now, tomorrow. Ideally it would be a league structure that could look after itself.

Any ideas?

Well, it's not hard to do, but it may take a long time to create the players and teams if they are not present.

You can't create leagues, but you can swap leagues with other nations, for instance say you wanted to use the Chinese league as a base, you could just swap the Chinese teams outta the Chinese league, then swap the TLA(Three letter name, like CHN for China) for China and Philipines(the reason for this is because the game identifies what nation the league belongs to by nation TLA) and lastly, you'll need to make sure the nation for the divisions and cups are set to Philipines.

You can't change rules or number of teams, but if you just take a look around at all the playable leagues and find out which has the number of teams and a ruleset which suits what you want to create.

What Philippine football league? Unless you are talking about making a college level league involving the UAAP and NCAA teams.

Good Luck! I tried to pull one off, and it didn't come out that good as a gaming experience. The game cannot simulate a realistic college football experience.

Thank you for your comments. My idea is to use an existing league, convert it to the phils, create the teams and a couple of hundred players.

Ive found 30 teams and 32 players. The best are the Younghusband brothers at chelsea.

So, i have researched the most popular names in the Phils to use as new players. In theory i can then find grey players, offer them contracts by taking temporary control of all of the teams in the playable leagues.

I will also give all the teams excellent youth facilities, if possible, so that hopefully the league can support itself after a few years.

I think it might prove to be an enjoyable long term project.

Well spent ages putting in tons of teams. And it wont load. It could be a mistake in using the Danish league format - i wanted a football pyramid system - but it may be the lack of players, and a few other details ive not finished yet. so will complete it and then see. Though i may have messed up the whole thing and may have to try again.... i hope not!

If using Denmark you will have to set the league and cup winner in the history section, as Denmark has a Super Cup, which is set up by league winner vs. cup winner, and if these are not set the game will crash while trying to set this competition up.

Also, you will need to fill the lower divisions, too as if there are not enough teams to fill the cup spots the game will crash when trying to set up the cup.
