Think I might give this a go.
BobbyBamber - do you have team passing on mixed or 'down both flanks' or something else?

Thought i would give this a try with my Liverpool 2011. and Damn. Started the season with 15 straight wins in all competition. then a 1-1 against everton.
Well i seem to have the perfect midfield for this tactic. with Messi - Gerrard - Alonso - Guzman. Those 4 are playing amazing so far. then i have Vela and Sturridge/Bendtner up front. bought vela for £100m for this season and cant get him realy to score. creates loads and loads of shots but cant get it in the net. anyways. great tactic. defense is working like a charm aswell. made some small adjustments. nothing big i belive.

you can improve defense if you put barrows for the two CBs and the midfield going to DM is very good. Should probably remove the farrows for FBs but put forward runs to rarely. Playing narrow is very useful if you put the CBs as mentioned. Having a DM with good jumping and heading could help with goals. Set your DM forward runs always... |

| I always used to have down both flanks , so the forwards could get the ball from wide , and run it in. But this season changed it to mixed , because both of my wingers we those strikers , who can also play either AMR or AML. And I won league 1 with 6 games to go , by 20 points , scoring 90 goals and getting to 102 points.
Its up to you , but the sucess seems to have come with the mixed. Quote:

| Should do , can't see the PC patches making much difference. But I don't have the 360 version so I cannot say for definate.

Admittedley I have a very strong Chelsea side but this tactic really does produce some exciting football and I don't think I've lost a game in about 24 or 25 matches. My players took several games to get used to the tactic but now they're revelling in it.
For away games, I use counter attack=on if I'm up against stern competition and I always reduce the width a couple of nothces. Finally, I take the farrows off the RB and LB.
Really solid tactic with great players but I'm not sure how it fares with lower teams.
Top job, fella!

| We'll I've just got promoted from League 1. Its just a case of finding the players to fit the formation. But I think its also the case of being a little more defensive.

BobbyBamber you have a very nice tactic here. I love the "crash the net" effect and it's exactly what my team needs.
I just have a little problem, I'd like to accomplish the same effect but I'm using a single striker and I'm not changing that. I'm playing 4-5-1 with 1 DMC, 2 MC-s and 2 very offensive wingers.
So my question is this, how would you set up the formation (farrows and forward runs of the midfeld) to accomplish basically the same effect, but with a lone stiker up front?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

| We'll I guess you could do it a couple of ways. Either have both your MC's as AMC's. And put them just behind the forward , with the Farrow going either side. Or have both of them as MC's with farrows to AMC position. Its up to you really , the basics of the formation would stay the same. But you'd have to make the decision on where to have your two MC's.

Bobby, i wanted to know two things. Firstly, do you play team passing destinations as mixed, or through the middle. Also, what edits for the tactic do you have when you play away?
