I use Man Marking all over, all players, even on my Striker. I played quite a few games with Zonal, but I was far from satisfied.

what about a playmaker, shouldn't he have loose zonal?

I dont use Playmaker, my team is too weak, and I dont have any class players. My opinion is that I am sure that the more Global settings I have, the easier it is for the players to get into the tactic. Thats why I try to keep the tactic as simple as possible.

The tactic I work on now is a 451/433 variant. Hopefully I will "settle" with a tactic where I can only change the Global settings, not have to tweak the Individual orders, to be successful. What I do "fear though", is that I will need to move or use Forward/Backward arrows on my Wingers, depending on if I need to defend or attack.

I always have to very attack minded fullbacks set quite defensively, but with high forward runs.

DM away from home always

2 quick skillfull strikers up front with the left sided set as a target man with ball played to feet.

I recommend everyone to get a fast striker Pace +15 is acutally enough, set him as target man with play to feet... it gives massive amounts of goals, espcially in a 4-4-2

I used to play a 4-3-3 formation, due to some "issues" with that formation, and the fact that I want to play 2 "pure" strikers up in front, I have now changed into a Flat 442.

I am a fan of global settings, esp Mentality... BUT: So far it seems that the Flat 442 is better off with the 2 DC's on Individual Mentality setting (1). I have a supsicion this is so due to the lack of a pure DM. Rest of my players are on a Global Team setting.
