Im managing Portsmouth. Ive found that an effective formation to use is 4-4-1-1 , this suits lua lua and all the central Mids. If you manage to sign an efective DM. this could be changed to a 4-2-2-1-1. Therefore reducing the (likely better quality) oppositions relentless attacks. In conjuntion with this. Try attacking mentality with a fast paced approach and link it with tight marking, counter attacks and play the offside trap. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
