Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I have quite a big squad on my celtic game and am currently top of the league table and injury table with TWELVE injuries, 8 of them key players my training schedules are at medium and I rest the full squad after everygame. It happens with every game I start. This makes the game completely annoying, im currently playing reserves and unders 19s and second placed Hearts are catching up. Any ideas as to how I avoid so many injuries.

Cheers

I've got the same problem, with all my players on medium training. The ammount of injuries per game is really annoying, unrealistic. Maybe this will be fixed with a final patch, cause injuries are a big problem in FM 2007, making the game frustrating sometimes.

As does playing a high tempo game on wet pitches. Also check if any of those players that get injured are "unhappy with the high training workload".

None of the above conditions apply to my injured players. All injured in games and include brocken foot, brocken leg, torn hamstrings. All are wingers with a total purchase value of £70M. The game is just trying to make life difficult.

My players have had an intense training program for almost six months now, with only two serious injuries and a total of 8 injuries, plus a few sickness periods. I play fast speed games with a lot of running and I must admit that haven't even found out about the resting possibility after playing two and a half seasons with the national league, national cup, EURO cup and Royal League(only for clubs in Norway, Sweden and Denmark). Does the league have anything to say, because the opposite teams might be harder in their tackles or something? Perhaps the players get used to train/play hard if it doesn't come to sudden on them.
