Chairman-Demanding New Players. Any help would be appreciated.
Any information upon this topic would be helpful. I'm in about my tenth year at the helm of West Brom, and I finally have reached financial security with sizable transfer funds.
To this point, I made my living off buying players for at most a few million. For instance, I bought Avihu Shimon for 850K and he's worth over 40 million, and picked up Gago on a free transfer. This is the way I prefer to build my squad.
My chairman is demanding world-class players. What's the minimum amount I have to bring in? Or, is it a percentage of the transfer funds? I've already bought two players that he said were acceptable for outrageous sums, but it doesn't appear to be enough.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

another "good way" is simply going to player search, ticking filter unrealistic, then finding the most valued player that you would like and buying him, most likely he will have a high rep and your chairman will be happpy.
Look for the "chairman is pleased" line at the bottom of your offer.
