Does it mean anything in this game ?

Famous saying: "As long as you have the ball the opponent can't score" But in fm08 its the other way around teams with less possesion seem to score more often and easier, strange very strange !

This just means that your tactic is weak against the counter attack. There are tactics out there that get 55-60% possession and score plenty more than the opposition.
