Ok former Derby man Karl Ashton, bare in mind ive been out of England for 2 years so forgive me if this is big / old news.

He, along with 3 other players, were offerd pro contracts at Derby. The other 3 accepted but he went to get a scholarship in America. I'm not sure how long that takes

Yeh essentially a standard bachalors takes about 4 years in America.
