What's the best deal YOU ever made in FM? What player costed you the least and gave you the most back?
Mine must be Barzagli in this year's edition. For those of you who don't already know, Barzagli is the closest you get to a perfectly buildt central defender. Well, anyhoo, Milan managed to unsettle him, and well, cunning as I am I exploited this little opportunity and bought the godlike defender to Juve for 28M kr. (Which equals about 2,5M £ or something around that.)
So far in the season, he has been the only defender to perform satisfying in every match. I can only dream how he'll team up with Cristian Zapata, once I've splashed my cash on him :cool:
in 2007 i bought tore reginiussen for 500k, and then sold him about 8 seasons later for 15 mil. eddie johnson, bought in the same game for 2.5 mil and sold 6 or 7 seasons later for 22.

Yes they do indeed, in 07 their team was even better but for whatever reason they were able to hang on to the players but not in 08. Barzagli, Zaccardo, Cassani, Amauri and Agliardi all get targetted by big clubs
Bought Chris Greenacre from Mansfield can't remeber which version for £250k when I was Newcastle. Went on to become clubs top scorer and won the lot with him. Gained every possible induvidual award going. Never sold him retired as a true legend
