ok here's the situation, Petr Cech wants a new challenge, has got 2 yrs left on his contract, doesn't want to renew it, and arsenal and ac milan are circling him like vultures over carcasses. how do i keep him?

if you win a lot of things (cups, league ...) and praise every other month or so, he might change his mind thats the only thing that works

Personal problems you cant help I dont think. Best option is to sell him. Sheva is not that great in the game anyway (and irl atm!!) and he's not young either to recapture the old form. Let him go.

As for Cech, agree with purefun. Thats about the only thing that works. Just praise him (be sure you dont overdo as it can have a negative effect) when he puts in a string of decent/good performances. If you get onto his "favoured personnel" list, he's more likely to stay. I make it a point to get on as many of my players "favoured personnel" list as possible in the first season itself. Especially guys I know attract a lot of interest and that I'm not keen on selling (RVP, Cesc, Clichy, Rosicky, Toure mostly)
