In My Game, Plymouth got 19th place in second season and got a place in next season's UEFA cup coz they had the best disciplinary record amongst all non-qualifying teams. Has that happened on Anyone's game before?
I believe its to do with the UEFA Fair Play awards, where the countries are awarded extra places to give to the teams with the best disciplinary record and so I think that would be why it happens
I've had it happen to me actually. I was Watford and finished about 14th in the Premiership and had the best disciplinary record and got awarded a spot in the UEFA Cup. Chuffed!

Dunfermline, a Scottish 1st Division side, (2nd top league if you didn't know) were playing in Europe because they lost in the Scottish Cup Final to Celtic who were already in the CL so they got the UEFA Cup place.

This has happened in real life as well. This season BK Häcken from Sweden played the UEFA cup, with the fair-play award. They also got relegated the year before. They did quite well actually, got kicked out in 1st round by Spartak Moscow
