well i started a new game with tottenham, and i tried to get rid of a midfielder in my reserves that i didn't need and to whom i was paying 26000euros a week. well i accepted an offer for him from blackburn i think, and i got a message from him saying that he'll only accept blackburn's contract if i pay him 7500 euros for the remaining of his contract!! , naturaly i declined, but my question is, have you ever seen anything like this, i've never even heard of it.

i had trouble with that at rangers i sold daniel cousin and he demanded £5000 until the remainder of his contract i had to accept or else they dont move , its so annoying !

Yeah it happened to me.
Boumsong demanded i pay him something like £3600 a week until his contract expires i had to accept to get rid of him.

IRL Robbie Fowler was continued to be paid a huge amount by Leeds after he moved to Man City.

Basically the player is saying, 'I am happy where I am, the other club can't afford to pay me as much as I am getting now, if you want rid of me you will have to make up the difference'.

i had that with one player. i accepted it because i would win some cash from transfer and its would always be cheaper this way then having him roting in my squad and paying the same salary

blimey, ive been playing this game for 2 years and its the first time i see this. well i declined, and when i offered him to blackburn again they made an offer and that c**t ended up by accepting their offer without asking me for any money. everybody wins, except him that is . hehe, guess i was luckier than leeds
