Reloading a game? FFS, how can you live with yourself?

in my game, weymouth seem to win all the time 4 or 5 - 0!

Every single game!

I also am Cambridge city and am earning a great deal of satisfaction,i am in my fourth season and have succesfully guided them to the heights of league one, good luck with your game

on the other hand, with the quick promotion comes board and fans that quickly expect more out of you... and they want you to have a high flying payroll (in fact, they get angry if your payroll is too small) but are unwilling to invest in youth programs (which start out pretty poorly) or a stadium (which only has a starting seated capacity of 600)...

different set of problems admittedly...
my second game (cambridge city) is a virtual opposite... perfectly fine financially with a board that seems content to be 10th in the league every year (i imagine them being angry when we earn promotion and just itching for a reason to fire the defiant young coach

Like I said in my post "stupid angry cheating but cheating nonetheless"...

However, the ridiculous string of events (both goal keepers and best forward hurt, DMC red carded) was just too much for me... I actually played the promotion game and lost 3-2 with a greyed out goalkeeper who only stopped one of the 4 shots on goal... at that point I just turned off the game in disgust... shouldn't have but I did it nonetheless...

Realism. Managers turn back the clock all the time if they lose games or players.

If you do it, don't tell us about it.

Quick update:

After running away with Conf. South, I was then promoted as champions of the conference national with a last day win over Cambridge, while York conceded an injury minute equaliser against Halifax.

I went up by one goal. Amazing.

Ended up in 6th in League 2, before I stupidly wrote over my game. Silly silly silly.

However, my experiment has taught me the following:
Weymouth are ridiculously easy to get promoted, however the wage budget can be terribly high. The only way you can really stop the cycle is selling some of your best players very early.

The club will give you ANYTHING, provided you are successful. If you lose a few games, you're in deep ****.

Anyway - I'll make a new topic when I'm done with this unemployed game. Ta!

It’s true IRL, Rafa in last year in the champions league had to re-load the game 16 times before he won, at half time 3-0 down he was about to re-load the game again but he tried a different tactic and low and behold Liverpool( ) scraped through on penalties.

Now think about it,he had to keep re-loading the game otherwise his Captain would have gone to Chelski...

As long as you play to the LLM Ethics and post accordingly (three seasons qualifying...blah...blah...) then all should be well.
Didn't read it too well then, did you

bookimdanno ... are you playing according to the LLM guidelines, have a read of them at the top of the page. As Ian said they are not banned but more experienced players will tend to avoid them because they generally win the league by 20-30 points in the first season.

I don't think he was complaining about them being banned, rather that he thought he was a kick arse manager because he's dominating with them.

If you're looking for a new challenge, crappy 80s tv fan, try frank at the top of the page
