just wondering how long you guys tend to run your careers for. obviously in real life this can vary from 6 months to 30 or so years, but do any of you tend to pull the plug after a set period of time?

I tend to carry on a save for as long as I possibly can. 6 months can not be counted as LLM

It counts as LLM, so long as you have a good 20 seasons afterwards

Currently 2016...(FM 2005)

Carlshton (sp?) 2005/6 ...2009/10
Kettering...2009/10...2013/14
Coventry...2013/14...current

I agree with Monkey, not nearly as challenging with Coventry as it was getting Carlshton (sp) promoted, or Kettering for that matter. I will continue with save until it crashes like previous saves at or around 2020.
