Season 2010/11
Stenhousemuir - Scottish Premier League
First season in SPL, so naturally board and fans wanted us to battle bravely against relegation. A whopping 300:1 odds for the title.
To achieve this we had to invest in players, and quite a few too. The board gave me about £400K to work with. This got us a long way, and with the sale of our brilliant AML for £1.5M I bought a few more. In total 12 players in for £625K. Paid most for a GK with 190K. He saved us many a match.
Released 6 players, and sold 12 for a total of 1.6M
After decent friendlies I hoped we would survive. A tough start of the season saw us near the bottom, but we steadily improved as the team gelled, and moved up the table. Midway we were 4th, and opening up a little gap on the pack behind. Fought for the rest of the season with Dunfermline and Hibernian for 3rd spot, and nailed it in the end with 3 points over Hibernian. Stenhousemuir are ready for Europe!! \o/
Not much to write home about from the cups. Sent out the reserves to give them some matches, unfortunetely they didn't get many.
Highlist of the season was our somewhat lucky 2-1 win over Rangers at Ibrox. We also lead 2-0 at home over Celtic. They then proceeded to score two on overtime, 91st and 94th minute goals

Celtic won the league 7 points ahead of Rangers, 24 ahead of us.
Scottish Premier League: 3rd P38 W16 D10 L12 65-56 58pts
Scottish Cup: 3rd Rnd. Dundee Utd (A) (SPL) 0-3
League Cup: 2nd Rnd. East Fife (A) (SD3) 0-1
Outshot them 18-2
5-6 of the buys became regulars, so quite a big change from last season. Some very promising youngsters fared well, especially a 17yo striker that banged in 16 from 16(4) league matches. Hope I can keep the lad on board, he's had a fantastic development so far stats-wise.
Am getting in some nice-looking youngsters for next term. A few may be good enough for the first team.
Now exams and xmas is coming up, so won't be updates for a while as I'm going home for xmas and won't be bringing the 'puter.
Really looking forward to Europe next year, hoping to make it a few rounds in. Fingers crossed for local council to not fukk up the stadium expansion
