LOL. I was so p!ssed off I could hardly think straight. FM seems to bring out the whole range of feelings. Incredibly happy when promotion's on the horizon, and maddening anger when you're in an endless spiral of defeats.
I'm okay now, and even found the missing pieces of the keyboard
It's just so frustrating when you get auquaplaning. One week everything is working great. Players are doing what they should be doing, beating weak opponents, acting more or less like intelligent human beings on a football pitch. Then the next week (and following months) they start acting like Bushes out there. Not caring if the ball is lying free with an oncoming striker. Passing the ball back 50 meters when you have a direct freekick from 20 meters. Just walking about in the midfield circle instead of hunting for the ball. And generally playing crap.
I seem to do fine if I do crap all the time, but once you get your hope up, players doing good, and then like the click of a lightswitch they suddenly behave like ret@rds, it gets to me. It's not the poor results that are dissappointing (euphemism), but how they happen. Losing to being outplayed is no problem, but when losing to huge discrepancies between real-life football and the match-engine is terribly annoying.
I guess your quote sums it up quite well butler. LLM is most of the time frustrating. It's just that when the string of frustration gets too long, it
can bring out the worst in me
