Okay, it's early days yet for any sort of assessment, and I haven't played more than a handful of games post-patch, but already I'm worried.

As anyone reading my update (here) will know, I am in my 3rd season in the conference with Weston-super-Mare. Whilst we've been banging them in for the last two seasons, we've not been so hot at the back.

And so things continued, prepatch, this time around Results pre-patch
(and yes, that is a fluke preseason victory over Benfica). As you can see, clean sheets are rarer than hen's teeth.

However, post patch, SI seem to have fixed my defensive woes and we are tighter than a camel's arsehole in a sandstorm.

Of course, it could be pure coincidence.

I had the same thoughts..

Since my last game pre-patch (A vs Buckingham, FA Trophy QR) I played 8 games (6 comp, 2 cup), won 6, drew 1 and lost 1. Results: 3-0, 4-3 (cup), 3-0, 4-0, 4-0, 0-1 (cup), 2-2, 3-1.
Have to say I was already on a decent unbeaten run in the league, but 6 wins and a draw were far beyond my expectations.

Well, my scoring (which has not been superb to begin with) seems to be down a bit as well. The defence on both sides seems to have tightened up for me (although clearly I am still fiddling my attacking).

I'm not sorry for it, frankly, as FM06 had been handing me a lot of 6-2 defeats (v the 3-1 I lose by now).

My team completely fell apart the second I installed the patch. A run of good form has vanished, like an old oak table.
