I let the assman arrange the friendlies then do the managing of them myself.
This pre-season I have been busy trying to find staff as there was only me, assman and physio left :eek:
That and a few new players makes it a vital time in terms of preperation.

End of season to me is the time to be tense unless there's no way I can improve my league position. The difference between mid-table mediocrity and lower in the league is quite important financially.

I personally like to see my team banging in goals left right and center in the pre season friendlies, I just can’t find teams bad enough to do that against. Even my under 18’s kick my ass  | |

I find the pre-season is the relaxing part of it , hence the best bit.
