I searched but didn't find an answer. I guess this is the place with people most likely to know.
I'm in my first season with Gainsbrough in English Conference North, and I'm entered in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Trophy, but not in the FA Cup.
I didn't lose any FA Cup qualifying matches, and there are teams in lower leagues than me in the competition, so I don't understand. Why didn't I get a chance to qualify for the FA Cup? Do I need to win the FA Trophy to enter, like the inter-toto?

I think you'll get drawn into the third (or maybe fourth) qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Yeah. Your club is ranked higher than those clubs, so you'll be in a later qualifying round.

Yes. Even if you make it a fifth round FA cup match against Arsenal, just getting there with replays and extra time periods screws your players legs. You can't play well if you're too tired to chase the ball.

The FA Cup games can be a real money spinner for you, if you make it through to the first round proper, and beyond. Certainly worth taking seriously, IMO.  | |

I'm up to December now and it's the 2nd round of the FA Cup. I've looked through the results in the FA Cup section and I haven't been entered into any qualifying rounds. I've checked my fixtures as well, I was never given a chance.
Is is a bug?
