What i find...

if you have more than 10 shots without a goal you just aren't going to score.

If the opposition is having bad game and there first shot is on target they will eventually snatch at least one goal against the run of play.

Screaming at your monitor doesn't help your defenders defend better, in fact they sense your anger and play crap. Forgetting how to mark and will probably in there confused state tackle hard in the area.

If your DC's man mark the strikers will never score yet a midfielder will always score his first goal for his club against you.

If in a game you are getting hammered and some how score. NEVER EVER go on the defensive. For some reason it always leads to a defeat. (best example was last game, i was down to 10 men, scored then on the 70th minute went defensive. Poof lost 2-1)

I hate MCs. I physically loathe them. They don't have character. A DMC is more defined, and so is an AMC. MCs are supposed to be good all-around, but in my experience they're crap all around.

That said, I have a couple of MCs in my Welsh save who are doing great.

A lot of these aren't really superstitions any more, are they?

I'm sure if you count the number of players that have scored first goals for their clubs against me, it's about half the bloody database

The closest I have to a superstition is that I have to use the 2D now. I prefer it anyway, but I always find on the rare occasion I've used commentary only, I've lost.

I never ever change my tactics during a game no matter what. Because I know if I change I will concede for sure. It happened so many times

Oh and I forgot that my backup keeper is always the first sub ALWAYS!

I never take a sub keeper, the reason for this is simple. I have played probably around 70 matches across several teams. When i haven't had a sub keeper my keeper never gets injured, even if he brings down a player in the box, he gets a yellow.

yet if i have a sub keeper on, that yellow becomes a red, my best keeper gets injured mid match...

as a result all season i haven't had a sub keeper and my "good" keeper is alive and kicking .

I do the tactics button thing, too.

I love the one about covering up the ball/keeper on PKs - never thought of that one.

My big one is - if three opposition highlights in a row come up, I MUST change tactics as soon as possible. Always - even when I try not too.

What tactics I change I shant mention, in the interest of not tipping, as it always results in a goal for my squad (that is a flat-out lie, but I tell myself that to make myself feel better).
