Anyway, I never click on the tactics button during a highlight any more. Sometimes it goes straight to the tactics screen before the highlight ends and when I go back to the game the opposition has scored

Heheh! My stupidest is probably sitting in the same position for preceding games once I get a win, until the run ends in a defeat.

I also have a few strange habits with the new teamtalks, but seeing my results so far with the new game, it might be tipping, so i'll keep them to myself.

Ok, here goes:

1 - During a match, the cursor rests on my team's tactics. Both out of necessity, because the match speed is the fastest possible, and thus I don't waste precious minutes looking for the button; and because, well, I'm a superstitious b@stard.

2 - I never, under any circumstances, EVER, click on the team's tactics during a key highlight for the opposition, they always end up in tears.

3 - I try not to sub players before half time, but will not hesitate to use all 3 before half-time in case I'm p!ssed off.
Which brings us to #4:

4 - If all subs are used before 60 minutes, it's a mathematic certainty someone will get injured in the remaining time.

5 - Late night sessions suck arse.

6 - I save and quit after defeats. This "ensures" this one defeat won't turn into a nightmare run in the next session. Of course, it never has any effect and every defeat is followed by at least another two, no matter how long I take to reload the game.

7 - When in a final, I always hope I'm the hosting side. When away, I always seem to lose. More likely than not though, I usually am away.

Yep, always for me too. Until the added time at the end of the game starts, at which point I move it to 'stats' or 'continue' depending on my mood

Only superstition I tend to have is using all my subs at the same time (when possible) before the final 20 minutes arrive. Rarely helps but I still can't seem to stop myself from doing it for the odd time it does pay off.

1.) As long as I'm on a streak I don't quit the game. I'll better wait until I'm really angry and it's better to protect my players from myself.

2.) I never negotiate expiring player contracts before November. If I'd do, I'm sure the player gets a major injury right after I extend the contract.

3.) I also think the "home" team has an advantage in finals.

4.) I try to sell players into different divisions just to avoid them scoring against me - which they definitely would. Some poor defender scored his first 2 league goals in 364 games. Against me. Both.

If ref dictates a penalty against me, I put the cursor on the ball, so the guy who takes it can't see the ball. Maybe he'll do like Posh's husband and send the ball into orbit.


If the ref dictates a penalty for me, I put the cursor on the opositions keeper, to cover him up completly, so he dosn't see the ball coming.:cool:

I never quit on a winning streak, rare though they are.

I seem to play best late at night and slightly intoxicated.

I always wear pants when I play.

I never drink alcohol while playing.

If a player has nover scored begfore in their entire career , they will against my team.
