I hear that Cowdenbeath's ground is marginally worse than the old Boghead. That was a brutal yet appropriately named stadium.

Why anyone would choose to go to Fife is beyond me. Kingdom my arse.

Season 08/09 - Scottish First Division

After backing into 3rd last season the board and fans still don't expect too much and just expect us to stave off relegation. I expect no less than mid-table and secretly hope for promotion...even though only the L1 champion go up.

I decide to make this a maintenance season and don't spend any of the 120K the board gives me to spend. 3 lads are brought in on a free to shore up the lineup but none are expected to star. 6 leave on a free and 1 is sold for 2K.

Maintenance is all I got. Recently relegated Motherwell ran away with the league on 82 points and we were all sucking on hind teat. The Blue Brazil were mid-table most of the campaign and finished...again...a respectable 3rd.

Highlights - Studfinn striker continues to improve and bags 23 in 30. Mr. Flintstone nets 17 in an injury plagued 26. Several offers come in for him...and I might just sell him off in the summer transfer window. Board still refuses to improve training facilities (I guess they like the racing grounds better).

No offers for me yet...even with an improved reputation. Cheers for bitter cold Fife.

Season 09/10 - Scottish First Division

Been a while...but here's another update...

Board and fans are starting to get accustomed to moderate success and get a bit greedier with mid-table expectations. Again...I hope for promotion and feel like we have a good shot this year.

With multiple offers coming in for Mr. Flintstone striker (who scored 17 in 26 last season) I decide to pad the coffers and unload him for 350K plus incentives. I replace him with a younger version and add better GK and DM for a combined 210K.

The season started off unconvincing and I was mid-table on Jan. 1. I add another striker at the transfer window from Hamilton for another 24K and Newguy worked out well...scoring 7 in his 12 games with us.

Sitting 4 points out at the beginning of March, we catch fire and win 6 and draw 1 in our final 7 to win the division - and promotion - by 2 points. \o/....and the peasants rejoice!! Even with our sub-6000 seat racing ground we are marching on to the SPL!!!

Highlights - Board finally agree to improve training facilities and by the end of the season they are upgraded to 'Average Facilities'. They won't increase the stadium size yet. Studfinn striker scores 20 in 32 and gets his first international goal.

Still no other job offers....I assume because of my American nationality. On to the SPL!!
