Should these be implemented into the game? They would add much realism, and could be morale boosters. For example, I have been playing Gravesend and Northfleet, and have noticed that in real life, they are playing in the Kent Senior Cup.
Don't know if any other countries besides England have things like this, but would be a lot of fun, and you'd finally have a chance to win a cup instead of getting knocked out in early rounds!
More cups = more games = more money
More cups = more games = more injuries :thdn:
More injuries = weaker team in competition :thdn:
weaker in comps = less change of getting promoted :thdn:
To use Woking as an an example, if the County Cups were put in, it would mean they'd be in four cups, that being the FA Cup, FA Trophy, Suck Arse Trophy and the Surrey Senior Cup.
Might make the Cup-suckers around here moist, but even one cup is too much tbh.
Not quite sure why the Kent Senior Cup and the FA Cup are the same, tbh.
Cups don't suck arse in general, ffs. Some cups suck arse, and these local variants would, as Nobby pointed out, actually suck more arse than the Vans Suck Arse Trophy™.
If you can't differentiate between the relative merits of the FA Cup and the Surrey Senior Cup, then you've got bigger problems than worrying about cups sucking arse.
