2008/2009 season continued
Well here we go, Part 2 of our amazing season
At the previous time of writing I was 3rd place 9 points of the top team Gravesend and in the 3rd round of the trophy. Well, My participation ended there. losing 4-0 in a replay to Torquay. Nevermind, could always concentrate on the laegue eh. We tried hard to gun down the leaders GNFC
)and assorted draws, but to no avail. we finally finished 2nd, 8 points behind our north Kent rivals. so back to the play offs again
We get drawn against Newport County and things start well. gaining a 1-0 victory at their gaff. Predictably thats where my luck ended. Back at Park View Road we throw everything including the kitchen sink at them but can't get past their keeper and my experienced Centre Back decides to make it fair and scores an own goal. extra time comes and goes with no change to the score and penalties it is. AND..........
we lose
2 of my players miss, including my top scorer, they score all theres and im consigned to
another season in Conf South. To make matters worse I apply for every job available and get no offers. what am I doing wrong!!
I tell you this though, I will prove them all wrong not to hire me, I will I tell thee!!
