This is the irony of LLM. Real life managers use all the things we deny ourselves - some use FM and the scout program, they go for 'known' players, use the interweb to find transfer listed players, etc. Some managers even learn their trade from other managers (tipping).

It goes without saying (I hope) that I'm not for one minute saying we should follow suit...

There might be lots of methods to find player names. But no real club will sign a player without scouting him, just because some numbers on paper look promising.

I haven't researched this like I normally would: but I would be incredibly amazed if a budget airline based in Ireland does do flights to Brazil.
