| I would assume so... As I said I did send the scout looking for right sided midfielders. I was hoping he would come back with a larger selection of right sided midfielders for me to wade through but he found very few.
On the same screen as you ask your scout to search England for say 6 months you can also ask him to look for any particular attributes you want like just defender, just midfielders. I personally can’t see a problem with telling you scout to look for particular attributes in a player… He still has to go out and fine them himself.

| Gawd, I wouldn't. That's just too specific. How can a scout look for a wage of zero? </BLOCKQUOTE>
When your scouts come back with a list of 100 odd players don’t you use the filter function?
All this does is tell the scout to filter then as he finds them I really don’t see a problem with this.

It would be nice to have a few extra options, like i'd like my scout to search for players with an expiring contract, or for him to look for loanees or transfer listed players

I only have one scout and he's running all around Brazil looking for talent. Brazil is a big place. He's very busy, so he wouldn't have time to check out all the South American U20's or 21's or whatever.
Same principle applies to Europe (Europe's big as well). The game doesn't allow for individual scouts to follow U20's around. Even if it did, it wouldn't be realistic. Remember, your scouts are on relatively low wages. Who pays for them to be jetting all over Europe?
So it's not realistic.
Maybe there are people IRL who keep lists of all the transfer listed players, but they would probably deal only with top clubs, not the **** poor clubs in the lower divisions. Not realistic.

| Err.. Infostrada keeps track of all player in paid divisions, corners, penalties, injuries, contracts, etc. etc. A mere 100 euro's and you can be in.
Running around Brazil and all: Ryanair does the trick.
Again: I won't question the SWYCT-rules... but IRL these things are different.
On the other hand: I've seen clubs signing exotic players that were as good as the schoolboys 'round the block. So no need to lift SWYCT

| Wow. That's cheap. Shows how much I know about the real life situation. I've never heard of Infostrada.
