Hi,
Can some on clarify the difference between "View Only" and "Playable" when starting a new game.
I am aware that if you get a feeder club in a league that hasn't been selected as playable when starting a new game, then the team does not play any fixtures. I was wondering if I selected the "View Only" would the teams actully play some matches so that my loanee's will get some experience?
Also what is the difference between "View Only" and "Load all players from nation"?

if it's "view only" you can't manage any club from those leagues. the game will probably simulate that league with less detail.

Yes they will!
"Load all players ..." will actually load ALL players from that nationality in the game, while with the view-only option, I noticed there were less players from the same nation!

Does the game run much quicker with the leagues as view only.
I normally have the top divisions of the Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Portugal, Belgium, South Africa, MLS, Argentina, Brazil loaded so that the players will all develop later on in the game. If I remember last year if you didn't have the leagues loaded then none of the teams would try and buy your players. Does this still happen with view only?

View only is awesome, in my opinion - gives you all of the depth, without slowing the game down!

I don't think it is, just had offers for Martins from spanish clubs on view only

I always use playable. What really makes a difference in speed is setting the leagues detail level to minimum. You don't really need any of the other stuff unless you like watching games that you aren't a part of.
